Steele Model and Talent brings forty years of experience in the entertainment business discovering and developing new clients for the modeling and talent industry.  We believe in the direct approach, a no-nonsense way to get started modeling or acting right away.  Our program helps new models and actors prepare and find the best and most appropriate agencies to represent them.  

Steele Model and Talent Management was founded by Cathy Steele in 1978.  Cathy began her modeling career at the age of fifteen in a small town in Southern California.  She went on to model with top agents including Nina Blanchard in Los Angeles, Wilhelmina in New York.  Cathy has modeled for Max Factor, Cole of California, Pendleton, and automobile companies including Ford, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Mercury, and Audi.  She has also been featured in such fashion magazines as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Mademoiselle, Seventeen, and Harper’s Bazaar, and has starred in over thirty-five television commercials.  Cathy Steele has been a guest on television and radio talk shows including NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, People are Talking, AM San Francisco, Good Morning Bay Area, KGO, KNBR, and KCBS. 
Cathy also owned and operated The Steele Agency, a successful SAG/AFTRA talent agency located in San Francisco, CA, that represented over 1100 top models and actors.
